Mama Care Africa tackles maternal healthcare from multiple angles

Maternal Health Services

We partner with local governments and healthcare facilities to improve access to prenatal, delivery and postnatal care. Our focus is on building and refurbishing maternity waiting homes, training healthcare workers, and providing essential medical supplies and medications.

Capacity Building

Through our train the trainer initiatives, we equip healthcare providers with the knowledge nd skills to manage obstetric emergencies such as postpartum hemorrhage, severe hypertension of pregnancy disorders, and neonatal resuscitation.

Community Engagement

Our community education campaigns raise awareness about maternal health, nutrition, family planning, and the importance of skilled birth attendance. By engaging with local leaders and communities, we address the cultural barriers that contribute to poor maternal health outcomes.

Centering Pregnancy

We understand the transformative power of pregnancy and parenthood. Our Centering on Pregnancy program provides a nurturing environment where expectant mothers can share experiences, and find emotional and practical support. Advocacy
